Alternative Methods of Replacing Electric Batteries in Public Transport Vehicles

Current electric vehicle solutions offer the possibility of a fully electrified bus fleet, although due to financial constraints, most cities cannot afford it. Therefore, battery replacement is needed alternative electrification process city’s fleet. The aim this study investigate needs and present concept in an bus. research was based on two groups selected Polish cities: (1) up 150,000 inhabitants, (2) 1 million inhabitants. part includes analysis means transport provincial Poland, kilometers covered by city average distances buses per day, estimate number replacements. current technological solutions. description proposed technology used, placement vehicle, scheme. Research indicates that can be used with existing but will more justifiable for larger higher fleet load. paper shows importance researching modern improve urban networks cities.
